HOW TO RECHARGE?
Charge (add credits to) the card to start using it through one of the payment methods listed on this page. The payment amount can be set at 2000, 3000, 5000 or 10000 yen.

Some cards come with promotional free minutes already included. If you have one of these cards, you may recharge it either before or after using up the free minutes.

Automatic Recharge:
Through this feature your Brastel Smart Phonecard can be automatically recharged every time its balance reaches 500 yen or less.

    SMART PIT SYSTEM
The Smart Pit payment system allows you to recharge your card without the need of payment coupons, using the bar code printed on its back.
Please follow the steps below:
(1) Take the card to one of the following authorized convenience stores:


MINISTOP

Three F

Sunkus

Circle K

FamilyMart (*1)

LAWSON (*1)

(*1) For payments at FamilyMart and LAWSON please access the Fami Port and Loppi machines inside the store to print out a payment order and give it to the store's clerk.
(2) Present the bar code printed card at one of the authorized convenience stores to make the payment.

The store's clerk will scan the bar code and you will be able to pay and place calls.

If you are unable to make a payment, the card's Smart Pit system may be deactivated. To activate it, please dial:

    PAYMENT COUPONS
Detach the desired amount of vouchers and make the payment at one of the authorized convenience stores listed below. Please do not present the entire booklet to the store's clerk.

Before paying, make sure the Card No. printed on the coupon matches the number printed on the card you want to use.

What is the Active Code?
The Active Code payment system allows you to recharge the Brastel Smart Phonecard using nothing but your mobile phone! Just download a bar code to the phone and go to a Daily YAMAZAKI, YAMAZAKI Daily Store or am/pm convenience store to make the payment.

How to proceed?
Request the link to download a bar code by accessing Brastel’s PC or mobile websites.

Through PC:
Login to Brastel Cyberservice.
Click on Active Code in the navigation menu.
Select the amount you wish to pay and enter your mobile phone’s email address.
An email with the link to the bar code will be sent to you.

Through the mobile’s website:
Login to Mobile's Cyberservice.
Select Payments ⇒ Active Code
Choose the amount you wish to pay.
Access the link and download the bar code.

Where to make payments?
At am/pm, present the bar code on your mobile phone to the convenience store's clerk to be scanned and make the payment. At Daily YAMAZAKI or YAMAZAKI Daily Store, scan the bar code using the Get-It! machine, print a payment form and give it to the clerk to pay.

The bar code can be used only once and will be valid until midnight of the next day. To make new payments, please repeat the procedure.
To easily access the Online Customer Service, send a blank email from your mobile phone to or, if your mobile phone has a bar code reader, please scan the bar code on the right.

Get a bonus of 500 and 150 yen for each Smart Pit, Active Code or coupon payment of 10,000 or 5,000 yen, respectively.

Note:
- The bonus will be given only for single payments of 5,000 and 10,000 yen made through Smart Pit system, Active Code and payment coupons at convenience stores. Multiple payments in the amount of 2,000 or 3,000 yen will not be considered.
- To change the amount of the Smart Pit payment system (bar code printed on the back of the card) or request payment coupons, access Brastel 24 hours, Cyberservice or call Customer Service.
   AUTHORIZED RECHARGING POINTS
The Brastel Smart Phonecard can also be recharged at authorized points throughout Japan. Present the card to the clerk and make the payment in the desired amount (minimum of 500 yen).

  • Recharges made with credit cards cannot be sent through the Credit Transfer or the International Recharge System.
  • The Automatic Recharge option will not be possible if our system fails to contact your credit card’s company, the credit card has expired or there is no sufficient credit.
  • Payments through credit cards and at authorized recharging points are not eligible for any type of bonus.
  • Credit card payments are accepted only through PC site.
  • Convenience stores are not responsible for any inquiries, financial liabilities or any other matter related to Brastel and/or its services.
  • The bar code for Active Code recharges can be used only once. To make new payments through this system, please access the website link again and repeat the procedure.
  • Payments are not refundable.
  • Rates are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Rates to the same destination may differ depending on the prefix number/access phone number you dial and on the type of phone.
  • If accessible, you may be charged international direct dialing rates for calls to toll-free numbers overseas.
  • Most (re)charges will take approximately five minutes to process; however, some may take longer depending on the communication network.
  • The Smart Pit is a system for payments at convenience stores offered by NTT Comware.
  • Your card's Smart Pit payment system will be deactivated if not used over a period of three months.
  • The Access Code will be deleted (will expire) if there is no record of usage or payment on the card over a period of three years.
